Martin’s best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire collection of fantasy novels that is set in the medieval fantasy world of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and chronicles the violent struggles among the kingdom’s noble families for control of the Iron Throne. The second season of the hit show will focus around the second novel A Clash of Kings.
