If you have not yet become hooked by the British science fiction comedy-drama series Misfits but you plan on watching it (you should do it’s on Hulu for free!) then this article and video will contain a few spoilers so don’t read on!
Robert Sheehan and his character Nathan may not be returning for season 3 of Misfits, but as we mentioned a couple of weeks back he has been given a proper send off with a one off special entitled Vegas Baby and you can see it below.
Nathan, armed with a new superpower, has got a plan to go out in style. His target? Las Vegas, baby! With Marnie and little Nathan Jnr. still in the picture, Nathan is plotting to use his new superpower to scam the casinos. It’s a sure-fire plan that can’t fail. Except it will, of course.
Great little movie, very funny (and crude in parts!) well worth 10 minutes of every Misfits fans time. And we won’t have to wait too long before Robert Sheehan is back on our radar, with his movie Killing Bono scheduled for a US release in October.

YYYYAAAAAIIIICCCCHHHH,THE FACE RULES ALL AND YOU ALL SHALL PERISH IN THE ALMIGHTY FACES WRATH!!! EYEH
I can’t wait to see what powers the others traded for. And the new bloke still has to prove himself worthy of the series as far as I’m concerned. But I’m sure he’ll fit in just fine since they’re keeping the same writer for his dialogue.
I wonder if Curtis took Nathan’s immortality so that he could see Nicky again.
I love the show and appreciate that they made a short film to explain Nathans absence. But what was Nathans new power? If it was to make something out of nothing(like the rabbit and the rose) why not just make 1000 chips all day long? Or straight cash for that matter? If it was to move objects around in space(like the chip) then where did the poorly dotted die come from?
Yea, I know Im a nerd.
Don’t think I’ll be watching now that nathan’s gone. And they would’ve been better off not releasing a ten minute bull story.
This sucks
…he was one of the strongest, most complex characters.
Well, he totally lived upto his ‘prick’ image by suddenly leaving the show and not giving a shit about the audience. hmmm…in that sense, i guess it works lol.
Amusing, yes crude (but, Hey, what show did you think you were watching). I think new guy has some potential and I can’t bloody wait until we see all these deliciously new powers. I feel extraordinarly sad now though. That’s the last time we are ever going to see Nathan? Fitting, yes. Funny, sure. But, it just seems like he was worth more perhaps… eh, I place my trust in the Overman
What is about British tv series that can’t seem to keep their stars? just another example of it a brilliant show that losing its core. I hope they can keep the momentum going and give us another stellar season.
It will be interesting to see how they keep the show together without Nathan’s character.
