Earlier this month U2 helped open the Toronto Film Festival with their new documentary From The Sky Down directed by Academy Award-winning documentary filmmaker Davis Guggenheim.
The rock doc focuses on U2′s groundbreaking 1991 album Achtung Baby and features new interviews, stories and unseen footage from recording sessions in Berlin and Dublin. It also coincides with the 20th anniversary of the album’s release, an album that Bono was quoted as describing as “the sound of four men chopping down The Joshua Tree’!
U2 have now released the trailer for the new film which you can check out below. This movie is definitely a must see for any U2 fan and the good news for US fans is that From The Sky Down will be broadcast on the Showtime cable network on Saturday, October 29th at 8 PM.
