Doctor Who Roundup – Prequel, Images, Clips, Trailers & More | Britscene

After a great series to date, the season finale of Doctor Who is unfortunately upon us, and if that what not bad enough I am going to have to rub salt in every Whovian’s wounds as it was announced earlier this week by The Doctor Who Magazine that series 7 would not arrive until the Fall of 2012. That is a full twelve months until The Doctor’s return for series 7, so we better make the most of the Christmas special this year!

Let’s also not forget we still have one more week and this Saturday’s episode The Wedding of River Song which looks as if it will be a cracking season finale. After some great guest appearances in the last couple of episodes from David Walliams and James Corden, the final episode takes it a step further with the likes of Mark Gatiss (heavily made up!) Simon Callow, Ian McNeice, Simon Fisher Becker, Frances Barber and of course Alex Kingston all set to appear (or reappear!). The finale sees the Doctor make his final journey to the shores of Lake Silencio in Utah, knowing only one thing can keep the universe safe – his own death!

We have pulled together everything we can find and bought it all together in one handy blog. We have a prequel to Saturday’s episode, two clips, two trailers, Doctor Who Confidential’s, Film To Story Board Comparison from Closing Time as well as 23 (Yes 23!) new images. Of course we have added a bit of fun stuff as last week US Comedy show Community made reference to Doctor Who in the form of Inspector Spacetime and someone even made a poster!

If all that is not enough I am certain, even more will appear later in the week.
