British indie rock band The Vaccines have announced their first headline tour of North America. Having only released their debut album What Did You Expect from the Vaccines? in March this year, the band from London have been making waves in Europe with their simple but infectious songwriting.
With their album charting at number four in the British music charts and having already played support slot on the Arctic Monkeys US tour, The Vaccines are set to make their own impression on the American music market. Kicking things off in Seattle on September 8th the band will be joined by Denver band Tennis as they make their way across the continent on a 13 date tour.
The Vaccines will also be performing at the Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Fransisco on August 12-14th, the UK inspired Escape To New York Festival on August 6th, and Lollapalooza on August 5th.
