The Smiths have announced the remastering and release of their entire back catalog which consists of their eight albums.

Their live 1988 album Rank is also included.
The albums all come in a massive box set and will include a DVD of the bands video’s, exclusive booklets and posters and is set for release on October 3rd at a hefty £249.99 or around $400. Don’t worry though as all your favorite Smiths records will be available at a more affordable $60 CD collection on September 26th.
However, The Smiths frontman Morrissey’s recent outbursts may affect sales though as he has come under a lot of criticism after comparing the recent atrocities that occurred in Norway to actions from fast food companies!
Before performing the song Meat Is Murder at a concert in Poland, Morrissey said
“We all live in a murderous world, as the events in Norway have shown, with 97 dead. Though that is nothing compared to what happens in McDonald’s and Kentucky Fried Sh*t every day.”
Morrissey’s recent comment on animal welfare follows a line of other acts including the singer banning food stalls at concerts that serve meat, having fans searched for meat and even sacking staff who eat meat!
