After the initial trailer we had doubts just how much David Tennant was going to be in the remake of the 1985 cult classic Fright Night. Luckily the second trailer gave us more insight into his role and now these newly released posters from Dreamworks give us the best look yet at a gun-toting, bad-ass Tennant and his character Peter Vincent.
In Fright Night Tennant’s role as the reluctant vampire hunter and magician Peter Vincent will see him helping teenager Charlie Brewster take on his neighbour from hell, Jerry a blood-thirsty vampire played by Irish actor Colin Farrell.

Fright Night is arriving in theaters in both 3D and 2D on August 19 (the September 2, on the posters is the UK release date). If you are lucky enough to be going to comic-con in San Diego, you can get to see the film early as Fright Night will be holding its premiere there next month.
