British music heavyweights Pink Floyd have announced they will be re-issuing remastered versions of their 14 studio albums starting on September 26th and running through to February next year. From casual enthusiast to the biggest Floydheads, there will be different versions for every level of fan. The whole re-issue will include collectors box sets, DVD and Blu-rays, digital formats and iPhone apps, vinyl releases and a brand-new single-album ‘Best Of’ collection.
The new remastered re-issues come after Pink Floyd and record label EMI settled a legal dispute over whether the label could sell Pink Floyd songs individually. The court case was ruled in the bands favor and since then Pink Floyd signed a new contract with EMI.
