PBS has unveiled details of its Fall programming and the line-up includes some excellent British programming and actors.

Featuring on PBS MASTERPIECE series the most notable announcement is the broadcasting of the spy thriller called Page Eight, which boast a first class British line-up. Bill Nighy, Rachel Weisz, Ralph Fiennes, Michael Gambon and Judy Davis star in the film which sees Nighy as an MI-5 officer who becomes wrapped up in an elaborate conspiracy after the death of his best friend played by Michael Gambon.
Written and directed by Oscar-nominee David Hare (The Reader, The Hours), Page Eight started shooting back in January and includes Cemetery Junction stars Tom Hughes and Felicity Jones plus Scottish actor Ewen Bremner from Fool’s Gold and Trainspotting.

Harry Potter co-stars Alan Rickman and Emma Thompson unite on screen again as they star in The Song of Lunch, a film based on Christopher Reid’s acclaimed narrative poem about a book editor and his former lover who reconnect 15 years after their original affair.

Inspector Lewis starring Kevin Whately and Laurence Fox also returns to PBS this Fall with four new Oxford University-based crime dramas, coproduced with ITV Studios.

Page Eight and The Song of Lunch have yet to have a broadcast date announced but Inspector Lewis Series IV will air on Sunday September 4th, 18th and 25th and October 9th, 9:00pm EST.
