Peter Gabriel Announces North American Tour

Written on March 31, 2011 by Patrick

Peter Gabriel returns to the USA and Canada for a 12 date tour with the New Blood Orchestra, kicking things off in Berkeley, CA on June 10th.
The former Genesis frontman will be showcasing his latest project New Blood where he applies an orchestral makeover to his own back catalogue, including the classics Red Rain, San Jacinto, Digging in the Dirt and Don’t Give Up to name a few. The striped down songs will focus on Gabriel’s vocals front and center with an orchestral background bringing his collection of material to a new quality.
Gabriel produced a similar performance last year except the songs were all covers of tracks by the likes of Lou Reed, David Bowie and Radiohead.

His new album featuring the New Blood Orchestra will be released later in the year following his tour. Check out his full tour schedule below and you can pre-order tickets from his website petergabriel.com.

You can also watch Peter Gabriel performing Signal To Noise on his last tour with the New Blood Orchestra at the O2 Arena, London, 2010.
