Series 9 of Waking The Dead will be the last.  The popular British television drama in which follows a cold case team including police officers, forensic scientist and psychological profiler who attempt to solve seemingly unsolvable crimes.

Producer Colin Wratten announced on the BBC TV Blog that  ”we’re finishing on a high, having not outstayed our welcome. Would you agree?” But still the final series will keep you on the edge of your seat with Boyd facing the biggest challenge of his life.

Waking The Dead Series 1-5 is available on Netflix now.

A real waste! i am so tired of hearing that producers want to go out on a high !

Like Spooks this is one of the best series to come out of the U.K. There is no reason why they could not continue the series as it has such a massive following. With so many dumb reality shows filling up our screens it is always a breath of fresh air to get high qaulity dramas that only the brits have the ability to produce.

So i say in conclusion, forget the high and give the public what they enjoy !
