Five New Dawn Treader Posters Sail Across The Web

Written on December 5, 2010 by Paul

Last week we had new clips galore for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader this week it’s the turn of the poster to hype up the soon to be released British movie.   We have found five new pieces of artwork for the next installment of the Narnia franchise based on the famous childrens novels by C.S.Lewis.   The new posters have a very  ”potterish” feel about them as they highlight all the main characters, which is similar to all the Deathly Hallows artwork we have seen recently.  But they do look great and we have gradually been getting more and more excited about The Dawn Treader as it’s UK / US release date of 10th of December approaches. Especially as it promises to be a more action-packed affair than the disappointing Prince Caspian.

In this next chapter of this UK film franchise, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, with their annoying cousin Eustace Scrubb, are swallowed into a very “Narniaish” painting.  Whisked on to a fantastic ship, The Dawn Treader they are joined again by Prince Caspian and head for the very edges of the world.

The latest installmet is directed by Michael Apted and again stars Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes and Ben Barnes with Anna Popplewell, William Moseley, Will Poulter, Liam Neeson, Tilda Swinton, Bill Nighy, and Gary Sweet. You may also notice the voice of the valiant warrior mouse Reepicheep is played by British actor Simon Pegg.

Check out the posters below, just click on the image to enlarge . We have built up a whole collection of promotional material in the last couple of months so if you would like to see trailers, clips, behinds the scenes footage and more just head over to our British Movie Library Entry here
