British music giants The Who released their remastered Live At Leeds – 40th Anniversary Super-Deluxe Collector’s Edition last month. The release is a must for Who fans which The New York Times called the “the best live rock album ever made”. Interestingly though the band admits that they preferred their following night gig in Hull over the Leeds gig. However the sound recordings were compromised with the bass missing from the first four songs, thus they decided to go with the Leeds concert.
The 40th Anniversary Edition though brings back to life the Hull concert and with new technology they were able to add in the missing bass section. The Collectors Edition includes both the Leeds and Hull gigs back to back and to celebrate the release The Who created a new animated video for their live version of Tattoo, which you can check out below.
