This Week’s British TV X Factor Update

This week each contestant had to perform two songs and the theme was ROCK!! It was a nerving wracking night for all as eight would become six ready for the semi finals next week.

Once again the star of the night was Matt Cardle singing the massive iconic rock song ’I love Rock and Roll’ and an acoustic version of ‘Nights In White Satin’.  Simon described his first performance as ‘terrific’ and his second as ‘ one of the best performances of the song ever.’

Cher also did two great performances off ‘Walk This Way’ and ‘Girlfriend’.While One Direction showed they are improving week by week with fantastic performances of ‘Summer of 69′ and ‘You are so beautiful.’

As eight were taken down to the bottom three of the public vote, the bottom contestant would leave immediately with the other two fighting for surival. Time was up for Katie who got the lowest number of votes even after two good performances and great comments from the judges. It was left for Louie’s two contestants, Mary and Wagner to sing again. Of course Mary was the better singer and all four judges voted to keep her sending Wagner home – FINALLY!
